Head Teacher job summary
Will you embrace the opportunity to bring together an Infant and Junior school into one Hub?
Will you take full advantage of the support and development available within Flying High Partnership?
Are you determined to ensure every child reaches their full potential?
If you answered yes to the above, we want to hear from you!
Ernehale Infant School and Ernehale Junior are looking to appoint an inspirational Head Teacher, developing the culture and vision as one Ernehale Hub, and providing dynamic strategic leadership to take the school to the next stage of its development!
Relentless in our pursuit of excellence.
At the heart of the Ernehale Hub, is the ABC Charter, that underpins the curriculum, ensuring that all pupils become aspirant, independent, and confident life-long learners, who have empathy towards one another and are prepared to take risks in their learning.
Aim High Be Our Best Choose Kindness
The school believes children learn best when they feel happy, secure, confident, and valued, irrespective of their ability or disability, social background, culture, or gender. Children are helped to understand the importance of democracy, the rule of the law, freedom of speech and respect for others, through the curriculum and extra-curricular activities. They are also encouraged to understand the importance of taking responsibility for their own behaviour and the choices they make. These concepts are both explicitly taught and also interwoven into everyday learning and school experiences.
Make Every Day Count
We are looking for a Head teacher that demonstrates compassion, clarity, courage, and integrity, that can further develop the vision for the school and make it their own, making every day count for every child. No two schools within our trust are the same and we actively encourage you to innovate and develop your own identity. As a trust we are there to support you to deliver your vision and with a sharp focus on school improvement and professional development, you will have the resources available to ensure that you can deliver rapid and sustained improvements.
As part of Flying High Partnership, you will have significant support, enabling you to realise your vision, with a sharp focus on school improvement. Significant capacity is available through our Education team, which will include the support of an allocated DQASI (Director of Quality Assurance and School Improvement). This capacity will evolve based on your needs and the needs of your school and includes access to wider support through our team of Lead Practitioners, substantial CPL and support around recruitment. In addition, significant support is available in HR, Finance, Estates and Health and Safety.
At the heart of what we can deliver for our children within Flying High, is working together. We look forward to welcoming a new Head teacher to the Ernehale Hub, and to form part of our Flying High community. You will not be alone in this role but will join a team of Head teachers who support each, grow and develop together, and work to ensure that we all deliver the best for our children.
