What skills and experience we're looking for
Do you believe in a bespoke, globally immersive curriculum that makes cognitive connections for all children? Then come and lead one of the most diverse and aspirational schools in an inclusive trust.
Pinkwell Primary is a multicultural school with amazing children. The school is 82% EAL, with over 40 languages spoken and a high level of transient students. We also have a high level of SEND (currently 24%) including a high proportion of complex needs in EYFS and 26 EHCPs across the school. Consequently, we are in the first year of a three year partnership with the Eden Academies Trust, who currently operate two specialist settings on the school site. At the end of this partnership when Eden moves to their two new Free School Sites our ambition is for Pinkwell to become a Primary and Special School.
Pinkwell is 32% Pupil Premium, but we also have over 55 families with no recourse to public funds. This is why we are so proud of our Community Box programme which gives weekly food, personal hygiene and cleaning products to 70-100 of our most vulnerable families every week.
If you see a diverse intake not as a challenge, but as an attribute to be celebrated, then come and lead a school with high ambitions for all its children and their families.
The school is a proud member of The Elliot Foundation MAT and works closely with colleagues across our academies and the central team.
For more information about the role and how you can arrange to visit the school informally, please refer to the Job Pack.
Details of how to apply are also in the Job Pack.
