What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for someone who has the energy, passion and ability to think strategically to take our school forward for the benefit of all our students and for our local community; someone who shares our moral compass as an inclusive, outward looking community school, passionate to do the best we possibly can for every student.

• Experience in at least two state secondary schools

  • Significant experience at senior level
  • Proven track record of raising educational standards
  • Curriculum and pastoral experience at senior management level
  • 11-18 school experience

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

• Degree

• Teaching qualification

• Achieved NPQH

• Higher qualification in education and/or management
