Lightwater Village School (two-form entry infant with Nursery) and Hammond Junior School (two-form entry) seek to recruit an outstanding leader who will understand, inspire and be proud to represent the school community.

Your opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional professional who can innovatively guide, support and challenge not only the two schools in Lightwater, but also have a significant impact within the group of schools in the cluster and more widely in the Trust.

We welcome applications from individuals who can apply empathy and are emotionally intelligent. We particularly welcome applicants from under-represented groups including those based on race, sex, gender reassignment. age, disability, sexual orientation, or religion/belief.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a large Multi Academy Trust that comprises 42 schools (Primary and Secondary) across the Southeast of England with a large central team of talented and passionate specialists.

About Hammond and Lightwater Schools

Both schools stand at the heart of the village community of Lightwater. They offer an outstanding start to education for children from Nursery to Year 6, consistently achieving excellence, yet also engaging children in imaginative and exciting curriculum whereby learning comes alive.

The schools sit within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Lightwater Village School and Hammond Junior School, the cluster includes the following other schools; Springfield, Cordwalles, Pine Ridge and Lorraine.

This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across this cluster, to share expertise and experience, ensuring all children in our schools receive an excellent education and reach their potential. It also provides opportunities for career progression across the cluster and gives you the chance to further your professional development.

Join the GLF Schools Community
