What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent
  • Further relevant professional qualification/academic study and evidence of continuous professional development and knowledge of current issues in education
  • At least three years of proven strong, successful senior leadership and management experience in a primary school
  • Professional qualification/status such as SLE or NPQH would be desirable
  • A clear thinker and a good communicator with a proven track record of success, who will stimulate trust and respect throughout the school
  • Able to demonstrate strong leadership
  • Able to successfully support and develop colleagues
  • Able to ensure an outstanding quality of education for all children
