Due to the retirement of our present long serving Headteacher, the Governors of Meadow Green Primary School are looking to appoint a Headteacher for Autumn 2026. We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational school leader with the vision, determination, skills and attributes to join our dedicated team and help us in enabling every pupil to achieve their full potential. The successful applicant will be supported by an enthusiastic highly skilled staff, committed and active governors and responsive parents.
Meadow Green prides itself on having an inclusive, warm and welcoming environment where children feel happy, safe and secure, and where a genuine love of learning grows. The school is committed to nurturing the whole child and recognising individual strengths. Its carefully designed curriculum promotes academic achievement while offering rich, creative and varied learning experiences. Personal development is a key focus and runs as a continuous thread throughout the curriculum, from Early Years through to Year 6, supporting children to grow into confident, well-rounded individuals. It is a successful, popular, one form entry school in a semi-rural local community in North East Worcestershire, on the outskirts of Wythall. The school was opened in September 1965 and at present has 255 children on role ranging from 3 to 11 years.
In our most recent Ofsted inspection (February 2024) Meadow Green was judged to be a good school overall and was judged to be good in all the inspection areas. Our external examination results at end of Key Stage 2 were above national averages. In reading maths and science.
