What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a candidate who can protect the long-standing traditions of the school as well as introducing new,innovative strategies to take our school into the next stage of its journey. Alongside the support and community of our Trust Headteachers, the successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning and curriculum design in order to continue to develop our school and prepare our children for the most outstanding futures.

Primary School, a highly regarded member of the recently formed St Francis Catholic MAT. This is a truly exciting

time to be joining St Francis as a new Catholic Trust of 13 schools, growing to 23 schools in line with the Bishop of

Hallam’s vision for education.

We are at the start of our journey to create a community of schools who come together to share and develop practice

to create an outstanding provision of education for our young people. The successful candidate will have the

opportunity to work with a committed and highly skilled Heads Forum whilst also having the opportunity to enter into

Trust Leadership in the future. As a Trust which is committed to talent spotting, nurturing and progression, this rolewould suit a candidate new to Headship as well as existing Headteachers.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a beautiful school with exceptional children and a highly committed and aspirationalstaff. It is currently rated by Ofsted as a ‘Good’ School and received ‘Outstanding’ in its Section 48 inspection in June 2022. Our school is committed to promoting both the academic development of children alongside their growth as individuals. Strong emphasis is placed on the pastoral care of our children and promoting the wellbeing of every child.
