What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governing Board of Pikes Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint a committed, principled and strategic Headteacher to lead our school into its next phase of development.

This appointment marks an important moment for the school. We are looking for a leader who will build on existing strengths, provide clarity and stability, and work in partnership with staff and governors to ensure every child thrives.
The Governing Board are looking for a Headteacher who will:
- Place the quality of education at the centre of all decision-making
- Lead with integrity, visibility and high expectations
- Provide stability, clear direction and strong professional standards
- Champion inclusion and ensure disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils achieve well
- Develop and support staff, promoting wellbeing alongside accountability
- Work transparently and constructively with Governors and the Local Authority
- Demonstrate sound financial oversight and effective organisational leadership
