What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for a Headteacher who is:
- a caring, dedicated and inspiring Catholic leader
- instrumental in placing the school at the heart of the parish community
- able to motivate and encourage staff and pupils, to achieve to their full potential
- an excellent communicator who works inclusively with all staff, pupils, parents, governors, the Trust, the Diocese and the wider community
- able to demonstrate a track record in school improvement coupled with the drive, ambition and creativity to further develop our school potential.

You will also be required to complete and submit a Recruitment Monitoring Form and a Rehabilitation of Offenders Act Disclosure form.

St Clare’s is a thriving, vibrant one-form entry Catholic Primary School with a strong sense of community. It is a founding member of the Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust in the Lancaster Diocese. The school currently caters for 288 children between the ages of three and eleven years and was awarded good in our OFSTED inspection in March 2022 and outstanding in our Diocesan Inspection in April 2023.
We aim to develop the whole child so that they can reach their individual potential both socially, spiritually and academically.
