What skills and experience we're looking for

The Diocese of Gloucester Academies Trust is delighted to advertise for the post of Headteacher at Whiteshill Primary School.  This is a permanent, full-time position from1 January 2026.The role requires a teaching commitment.

This role provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced leader to lead a team of passionate teaching and support staff to ensure high quality teaching and learning.

We are seeking an individual who can inspire and develop others, who has a clear understanding of excellent teaching and learning, and who leads with passion, inclusivity and integrity. You will be someone who builds trust and confidence within your community, enabling both children and adults to flourish. We would also value a willingness to contribute to and share strong practice across our family of schools. 

A strong commitment to excellence in school leadership, alongside an understanding of and alignment with the values of a Trust with a Church of England foundation, is essential.
