(Actual salary will be pro rata the Full Time Equivalent salary- FTE)
Permanent, Part Time (22.5 hours per week), Term Time (40 weeks worked during term times but paid for 46 weeks per year)
Our Lady Immaculate Catholic Academies Trust is a large Catholic Multi Academy Trust situated in the northern half of the Catholic Diocese of Northampton. The Trust currently leads and manages ten Catholic primary schools located across the geographical area of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire and, two Catholic secondary schools, Thomas Becket in Northampton and St Thomas More, Bedford.
The Trust is seeking an experienced H&S Compliance Officer, to be part of a central Operations team of 3 supporting the Trust’s schools located in Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role will be responsible for ensuring all our schools are compliant with all Health and Safety regulations, legal and regulatory compliance requirements as well as internal policies and procedures. The post will develop and manage compliance programs, audit schools’ procedures, identify and manage risk, design internal controls where needed and inform the Head of Operations regarding new developments in Health and Safety legislation. The post will provide administrative support to the Head of Operations liaising both within OLICAT and externally with regulatory bodies and statutory frameworks.

The role will involve regular travel between school sites throughout Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire and the role will be based at the Northampton Trust offices located at the Good Shepherd Primary School.
