Herringham Primary Academy is part of the Gateway Learning Community [GLC] which is a partnership of one secondary academy and four primary academies located within Tilbury and Chadwell St Mary in the borough of Thurrock, to the east of London. Candidates must be able to demonstrate significant evidence in whole-school transformation leading directly to outstanding outcomes for pupils. They must be able to evidence exceptional leadership as well as exemplary practice as a classroom practitioner. The final responsibilities for this role will be negotiated according to the successful candidates experience and ambitions.


The successful candidate will be thoroughly committed to community regeneration through education; be professionally generous and be prepared to focus relentlessly on teaching, learning, the curriculum and ethos.
