Working hours: 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 3.00pm (with 1-hour unpaid lunch each day), 38 weeks per year (term time only).

Job summary:

We are seeking a committed and flexible Higher-Level Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with SEND to work 1:1 and with small groups. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting learning, self-esteem, inclusion, behaviour, and pastoral needs, while providing personal care where required. You will work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of English, Mathematics, and the wider National and enhanced curriculum. Strong communication skills, a positive approach, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team are essential for this role.

Corsham Primary School is located in the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Corsham, near Bath, and is arranged over two sites located at either side of the town. Pound Pill site offers 14 classes and the Broadwood site houses 10 classes, both supporting children from Reception to Year 6.
