Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking an experienced HLTA to support in a year 5/6 classroom, but also have experience and flexibility to support cover in the other classes on a weekly basis for PPA.

The ability and work ethic to be part of a small team, and contribute to the success of pupil outcomes. This person would ideally understand the importance of nurture and getting to know our children in this small village primary school.

The 33.5 hours per week, term time only with 3 INSET days, permanent role consists of the following roles:

  • Breakfast Club 8:00 am-8:30am (2.5 hours)
  • School Based 8:30am-12pm & 12:30pm-3:00pm (30 hours)
  • After school Club 3:00pm-4:00pm once a week
