Browick Road Primary and Nursery School is a thriving and popular primary school in the heart of Wymondham.
We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work 2 days a week on a fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will:
- have proven experience of working successfully with children in a primary school;
- have high aspirations for children in their care and be able to support them to make progress, however small the steps;
- have high expectations of children’s behaviour;
- be calm, positive and patient;
- be able to use their own initiative and “think on their feet”;
- enjoy working as part of a team and be able to contribute ideas and accept feedback;
- have the interpersonal skills to develop positive and supportive relationships with children, colleagues and parents/carers;
- be committed to the school’s strong safeguarding culture.

Hours: 11.5 hours (ideally over 2 full days but this is negotiable). Term-time plus 1 week. Salary Range: £27,711 to £30,060 pro rata (dependent on experience).
