Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

Join the Team at Holme Hall Primary School – we are are caring and nurturing school , where both staff and pupils are valued and supported.
This HLTA role is permanent . The role is for 26 hours and will include classroom support, HLTA led group intervention as well as whole-class teaching as appropriate.

The successful applicant will cover teachers across the whole school, providing PPA, management time and absence cover. An understanding of Pathways and Power Maths would be beneficial and subject knowledge in some foundation subjects, desirable.

The school is part of the Learners’ Trust, which is a medium-sized MAT comprising of seventeen primary schools, one special school, over three-thousand five-hundred children and spanning the three Local Authority regions of Rotherham, Derbyshire and Derby City.
