Bournville Village Primary School is seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4) to join our dedicated team.

🧩 The Role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Lead learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes under the direction of a teacher.

  • Provide targeted interventions to raise pupil achievement and support inclusion.

  • Support planning, assessment, and the development of learning materials.

  • Take responsibility for the management of other support staff when required.

  • Support and model high standards of behaviour and learning.

  • Work closely with teaching staff to help deliver a rich, engaging curriculum.

✅ We’re Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds a recognised Level 4 HLTA qualification (or equivalent).

  • Has substantial experience working in a primary school setting.

  • Can demonstrate the ability to lead whole-class learning in the teacher’s absence.

  • Has excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Is reflective, flexible, and committed to continuous professional development.

  • Is passionate about improving outcomes for all children.
