Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 3) job summary

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a highly experienced HLTA (Level 3) with teaching experience covering Nursery aged children up to Year 6 pupils. This role will be based at St Marie’s Catholic Primary School and Nursery. This role is to cover classes across the whole school, with 3 set days a week to cover classes and two days a week to release time for subject leaders and provide sickness absence cover.

The successful candidate will:

    have strong organisational and interpersonal skills

    be sympathetic towards the aims and ethos of our Catholic School.

    be passionate about transforming the lives of children.

    be an adult who has high expectations of children.

    have a HLTA qualification and previous experience working as an HLTA in a school environment

    have a creative approach to the curriculum and the commitment to provide first class child support
