Neale-Wade Academy is seeking a dynamic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. The role will involve working across a range of subjects and activities, including specialist subject teaching, delivering interventions, and supporting both individual and group learning. HLTAs at Neale-Wade Academy play a key role in fostering an environment of positive learning and ensuring our students achieve their full potential.
About the Role
As an HLTA, you will be expected to undertake a variety of roles, including:
- Specialist Subject Teaching: Take responsibility for teaching specific subject areas, such as Religion and Worldviews, and cover for teacher absences or release time.
- Intervention Delivery: Provide specialist interventions for students in both our Specialist Education Unit and mainstream classes, supporting learners with diverse academic and pastoral needs.
- Collaborative Working: Actively participate in Professional Development days and staff meetings, contributing to the development of our teaching practice.
- Supporting Inclusion: Promote the inclusion of all learners and help students access the curriculum in a way that is suited to their individual needs.
