Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary


We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is an experienced Teaching Assistant, with recent experience of whole class teaching
  • Has energy, commitment, organisational skills and knowledge to support the teaching and learning across the school
  • Has a good understanding of the curriculum
  • Is committed to the CTT approach to behaviour
  • Has a good understanding of phonics and early reading
  • Is flexible and able to cover at short notice
  • Will contribute to the wider school
  • Is positive and solution focussed

33 ¾ hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.45pm with ½ hour break (unpaid); term time only

This post would be suitable for someone who has or is working towards an HLTA L4 qualification.
