We are seeking to appoint a committed HTLA to take a pro-active role as a key member of staff our school. The job will include stepping into the teaching role when needed, leading small group interventions and helping to drive learning across the school. About You:
As an HLTA, you will:

Lead targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy, using assessment data to adapt your approach. Input this data into assessment tools and support teachers to create, update and evaluate individual learning plans.
Model excellent classroom practice and assist other support staff. Encourage the use of ICT to advance students’ knowledge during the lesson.
Be happy to contribute to the wider life of the school. eg. School council, enrichment clubs.
This role requires initiative, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting pupils in achieving their full potential.
As a Year 6 TA, you will:
Provide in-class support during English, maths, and foundation subjects.
Prep and lead small group and one-to-one interventions to boost confidence and attainment.
Help pupils prepare for SATs through targeted revision and practice and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing during this important transition year.
Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and resources.
Assist with lunch and break time supervision of students on a rota basis in accordance with the school’s procedures for playground supervision.
Administer minor first aid and medically prescribed drugs if trained as per procedure.
What You'll Bring
Experience supporting teaching and learning in Key Stage 2.
For HLTA: HLTA status (or willingness to work towards it) and confidence in delivering whole-class lessons.
A calm, positive, and encouraging approach that inspires trust and respect.
Strong communication skills with pupils, staff, and parents.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Why You'll Love It Here
A warm, collaborative team who genuinely care about each other and our pupils.
Working in a fun, fast classroom environment with some brilliant learners. Lots of exciting trips, experiences and laughs as a class.
Staff wellbeing initiatives and access to wellbeing support.
