Higher Level Teaching Assistant job summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to play a key role in supporting children with special educational needs across our school. In this role, you will:

Provide targeted support for pupils with identified SEN, in line with EHCPs, IEPs, and personalised support plans.

Support pupils with regulation, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing, using positive and restorative approaches.

Run small group interventions for children with SEN.

We are looking for someone who:

Is a collaborative team player who can lead provision for children with SEN.

Can provide positive classroom management and build strong professional relationships within a year group or phase.

Can follow and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of all children.

Has the motivation and experience to deliver targeted interventions that enable every child to make excellent progress.

Hours: 30 per week
Working pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term time only)
