Are you an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA looking to make a real impact?

Warren Mead Infant and Junior School Partnership and Cuddington Croft Primary School are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across our schools, helping to shape the educational experience of our wonderful pupils. If you’re passionate about making a difference and ready to bring your skills, energy, and creativity to a vibrant school community, we’d love to hear from you!

Your opportunity

Working under the direction of the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons, supporting children with a range of needs, and committed to fostering a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. As part of GLF Schools, you'll also benefit from opportunities for professional development and collaboration across a wider network of supportive professionals.

Please note, this role is working across both Warren Mead Infant and Junior Partnership and Cuddington Croft Primary School, which forms part of our school cluster under the Executive Headteacher.

Due to the requirement to provide PPA cover within the nursery provision, applicants must hold a relevant teaching qualification. This requirement is specific to the needs of the setting, and the role does not involve additional teaching responsibilities beyond those expected of a HLTA.

What we are looking for

  • Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and a HLTA qualification.
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Have experience delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
  • Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
  • Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.

Warren Mead caters for children aged 4-11 years of age with our own Nursery provision on site which caters for children from 3 years of age. Warren Mead has a highly passionate and dedicated team of staff who strive to provide the best education for all our children. We pride ourselves on;

having high aspirations of all our children,
growing considerate young people,
teaching children how to be resilient in the world in which we live,
giving the children plenty of opportunities to be proud of themselves and their peers
Warren Mead Infant and Junior School have historically been separate schools however in more recent years, we have embarked on an exciting new journey for the school where the leadership team lead the two schools as one, serving the same community. Although working out of two buildings, the schools now have a united vision, a joint set of values and a cohesive, progressive curriculum which starts in Nursery and progresses through to Year 6.
At Warren Mead, children experience an enriched learning journey that encourages them to grow as individuals through developing a love and thirst for learning. By creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, we enable all children to strive towards achieving their own aspirations, whilst encouraging learners to grow as resilient, considerate individuals that are proud of themselves everyday.
