About Corby Technical School and the Role

At Corby Technical School, we believe in unique learners, unlimited ambition. Our aim is for every student to leave us ready for a successful next step, equipped with the confidence, resilience, and skills to thrive. We create an environment of high support and high challenge, rooted in an inclusive culture and a strong commitment to restorative, asset-based approaches.

Corby Technical School is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to play a key role within our SENd Team, helping to shape and deliver high-impact support for students on the SENd Register. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive practitioner who is passionate about inclusion and driven by the belief that every young person can succeed with the right provision. As an HLTA, you will help lead and strengthen day-to-day SENd provision, using your expertise to design, construct and deliver bespoke learning opportunities that meet individual needs—whether through targeted interventions, adaptive in-class strategies, or personalised programmes that re-engage learners and build independence. You will be confident supporting students who may present with challenging behaviour, non-compliance or dysregulation, remaining calm, consistent and resilient while maintaining high expectations. If you are ready to combine leadership, creativity and care to make a measurable difference every day, we would love to hear from you.

Contract: Term time only, 37 hours per week

Hours: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.00pm Friday

Join us and be part of a team that is committed to high standards, high expectations, and high support for every learner.
