We looking for an exceptional HLTA - Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) to join the team here at Parkwood E-ACT Academy. There is a real buzz about our academy and the rate at which our pupils progress, but don’t just take our word for it! The purpose of this role is to collaborate with teachers in planning and delivering programmes of teaching and learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes within a framework agreed with and under the overall direction and supervision of a qualified teacher. Responsibilities include: -Plan, prepare and deliver assigned programmes of teaching and learning activities to individuals, small groups and/or whole classes modifying and adapting activities as necessary under the overall direction and supervision of a teacher -Assess the needs of pupils and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupils’ learning -Develop and implement Individual Development Plans for pupils (such as -Individual Education Plans) including attendance at, and contribution to, reviews Salary: SCP 20-26 £23,157 - £27,131 (FTE - £26,446 - £30,987) Working pattern: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Fixed Term - Maternity Cover For a full description of the role, see the job description and job specification.
