HLTA (Resource Provision) job summary

Applications for full or part time will be considered.

We are excited to be creating a new provision at our school for students who find a full mainstream curriculum a challenge. This will include students with SEND and SEMH, but also those with medical needs – in short, any student identified who would benefit from a disapplication arrangement for a period of time. One of the reasons for building the provision is to enable students significantly below age related expectations to make successful transition to secondary school.

You will be equally excited to join us at the beginning of this venture! Your experience of primary education will be extremely important to us, but so will your versatility and willingness to adapt to the demands of Key Stages 3 and 4 in particular.

We offer:

  • Outstanding support for new colleagues, including a comprehensive induction and bespoke CPD programmes
  • Employee recognition and rewards
  • Membership with a health benefits provider
  • Two-week October half term holiday
  • Free on-site parking
  • Option for Cycle to Work scheme

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Simon Smith, Assistant Head on srsmith@bishopstopford.com
