HLTA job summary
Required to start as soon as possible. Watchfield Primary School is proud to be part of the Cambrian Learning Trust, an nine school multi academy trust, which was established on 1st April 2012. Situated in the village of Watchfield, near Faringdon, we have a wide and diverse school community. We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to cover teachers PPA/management time, and other planned or emergency cover. The HLTA role complements the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. Applicants should be able to work well in a team and be flexible, have a positive outlook and high expectations of all children. Please demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy (GCSE grade A – C).
