Home School Link Worker job summary

Your opportunity

The Home School Link Worker at The Beacon School plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being, safety, and academic success of pupils by acting as a bridge between home and school. The postholder will work closely with school staff, families, and external agencies to identify and address barriers to learning, improve attendance and punctuality, and provide early intervention and tailored support to vulnerable pupils and their families. The role also involves supporting students transitioning to The Beacon School by facilitating a structured onboarding process upon their arrival.

The Details

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: Associate 2 - £23,914 FTE

Actual Salary: £20,001.60

Hours: 35hrs a week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4pm (term time 39 weeks per year)

Contract Type: Permanent

Closing Date: Friday 17th July at 9.30am
