HR & Admin Assistant job summary

Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking to recruit an HR and Admin assistant to join their office team at South Norwood Primary School. This position is term time only, 40 weeks per year, 35 hours a week working 08.00-16.00.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To provide HR and admin support to the School Business Manager
  • To provide admin support to the Premises Manager
  • Provide a reception service including answering and dealing with telephone enquiries, taking and acting on messages, issuing and retrieving passes, dealing with correspondence and any other task required during a school day.
  • Provide clerical support to other members of staff.
  • Manage administrative procedures including termly census, school workforce census etc.
