Join our Central Team

TEAM Multi-Academy Trust is looking for a friendly, organised and enthusiastic HR Administrative Assistant to join our supportive central team, based in the TEAM Central Offices in Newport, Barnstaple.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking and values-led Trust supporting 9 primary schools and 1 Management Partnership.

Our people are at the heart of TEAM and you’ll play an important role in providing a welcoming, efficient and approachable HR service across the Trust. No two days will be quite the same, with the role covering a variety of HR tasks including recruitment, onboarding, induction, absence and payroll administration, as well as keeping employee records up to date.

We are looking for someone who is approachable, reliable and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will need to be confident working with a range of people, able to manage competing priorities and understand the importance of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Previous experience of HR administration, payroll processes or working within an educational setting would be desirable, but is not essential. Experience of HR and payroll systems, including iTrent, would be a real bonus. More importantly, we are looking for someone with strong administrative skills, a positive and flexible approach and an enthusiasm for developing their knowledge and experience within HR.

This is an exciting time to join TEAM Multi Academy Trust and an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their HR career while making a positive contribution to the staff, schools and communities within our Trust.

Why Join Us?

  • Pension: Membership of a generous pension scheme (LGPS)
  • Health & Wellbeing: Access to Medigold Occupational Health who provide our employees with a range of free health and wellbeing benefits including access to Thrive; a mental wellbeing app and free seasonal flu vaccinations.
