HR Administrator job summary

Key responsibilities:

The postholder will be required to:

  • Lead the onboarding process for colleagues  joining the schools across the Trust, including conducting vetting checks and issuing contracts

  • Manage the HR inboxes and respond to queries from schools in a professional, timely and accurate manner

  • Update the HR system (Every) in a timely and accurate manner

  • Complete payroll administrative duties, working with the Payroll Lead

  • Produce and analyse HR data reports for various stakeholders

  • Review and recommend improvements to HR processes within the Every system

  • Maintain great relationships with stakeholders, including the schools, Shared Services and candidates.

  • Able to work with a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality and attention to detail.

  • Highly organised with excellent administrative skills and able to work under pressure.

  • Flexible, with a ‘can-do’ approach and the ability to work independently.

  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Be able to build effective working relationships and work well as part of a busy team.

  • Be highly proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel and ideally have experience of using HRMIS software.

  • Be supportive of the core values and ethos of Maiden Erlegh Trust.

The role is hybrid, working at our Shared Services site on a regular basis, with some travel to schools within the Trust.
