What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic HR Advisor to join our central team. You will play a key role in supporting our schools with day-to-day HR advice, case management, and policy implementation – all whilst helping to build a culture of fairness, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.

We invite applications from individuals with substantial experience of providing a professional advisory service, which includes experience of leading and managing formal complex casework, ideally already in the eduction or public sector. The successful candidate will:

  • Provide professional HR advice and support to school leaders and managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance, and wellbeing.
  • Have sound working knowledge of employment law, NJC Staff terms and conditions and Teachers’ terms and conditions
  • Contribute to policy development and support implementation across the Trust.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and support HR data reporting and analysis.
  • Promote best practice and consistency across our schools, while recognising the unique needs of a special education environment.
