An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Stevenage ESC as a full time HR Assistant & SLT Support to join the Centre office. This post offers an opportunity for the right person to develop their experience in an ESC setting. You will be joining an enthusiastic, friendly and highly motivated team.
We are looking for somebody with experience of HR and administration within a busy office environment. Applicants should have excellent organisational skills and a sound grasp of IT including the use of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SIMS would also be preferable. The ability to work under pressure at times during the school year is also important, together with a sense of humour. You will have contact with students, parents and professionals and will require excellent communication skills.
To be successful in this role, the applicant must be a strong team player who can work off their own initiative whilst remaining a confident, empathetic and positive character in the Centre.
You will be joining a dedicated team of inspirational educators who always put children at the heart of everything they do. Previous HR experience is essential.

Stevenage ESC is a Pupil Referral Unit providing full and part time education for permanently excluded Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils and for those at risk of exclusion, in addition the centre also provides an Outreach Support Service to the local schools.
