Reflection Room Supervisor job summary

πŸ”Ž Are you passionate about supporting young people to succeed and committed to creating a calm, structured environment where students can reflect, reset and re-engage with learning?

We are seeking a dedicated, resilient and highly organised Reflection Room Supervisor to play a key role in maintaining our positive behaviour culture. This is an important position, responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the Reflection Room, providing students with a calm and purposeful environment where they can continue learning while reflecting on their behaviour.

You will supervise students who have been removed from lessons or are completing an internal suspension, ensuring they remain engaged with their learning, meet the academy's expectations, and are supported to successfully return to the classroom. You will work closely with teachers, Behaviour Leads, parents and senior leaders to coordinate work, maintain accurate records, and support effective behaviour interventions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who remains calm under pressure, builds positive relationships with young people, and is committed to maintaining high expectations while helping students make positive choices.

βœ… Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting

βœ… The ability to remain calm, patient and confident when supporting students who may present challenging behaviour

βœ… A proactive, resilient and solution-focused approach with high expectations of behaviour and learning
