About This Role
Established in 2014, The Black Pear Trust is a family of eight schools in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We serve children from 2 to 18 and employ around 400 colleagues in a variety of roles. We have evolved and grown over time and have established a successful central operations team. As a new role within Black Pear we seek an experienced and enthusiastic HR Manager to oversee and lead our HR function in order to develop and enhance our people strategy and to develop the day to day HR operations.
In this exciting new role you will play a critical role in managing our HR function, from recruitment and employee relations to policy development and compliance. You will be responsible for implementing our People strategies and fostering a positive work environment across our Trust. You should have a strong background in HR management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of employment laws and regulations.
You will be someone who can work and influence at all levels within and outside the organisation, forming positive working relationships with Executive and school leaders and the wider Trust community. You will need excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
