HR Manager job summary

Tudor Grange Academies Trust is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our central HR team. This is a pivotal role supporting the Executive HR Director and leading on key areas of HR delivery across our academies.

As HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex employee relations casework, overseeing statutory HR reporting, and supporting the HR Coordinator with escalated queries. You will play a vital role in ensuring our HR practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on HR data reporting including Gender Pay Gap, Apprenticeship, and EDI metrics
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance, and capability casework across the Trust
  • Provide expert support to school leaders and HR colleagues on complex HR matters
  • Collaborate with school-based HR Administrators and our dedicated Payroll team
  • Act as deputy to the Executive HR Director

What We’re Looking For

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (Level 7 desirable)
  • Strong experience in employee relations and HR data reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Trust or education sector experience is highly desirable
