About you

The school is looking to appoint an experienced and proactive HR Officer and Advisor alongside our School Business Leader as part of our supportive, close-knit back-office team. Qualified or working towards a professional HR qualification (CIPD), the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HR policies and procedures, ideally in a school environment. You should possess a solid understanding of employment law and good practice, while also being able to show empathy and build lasting relationships with all stakeholders, including staff and Senior Leaders.

About the role

As Human Resources Officer and Advisor, you will be responsible for the day to day provision of the Human Resources service, which includes the processing of all HR procedures, HR records and data management. The successful candidate will provide general advice and guidance as needed on human resources processes, and a range of human resources issues including employee relations, recruitment, absence and pay and conditions of service.
