What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a well-motivated and skilled HLTA to join our friendly, caring and enthusiastic team from 1 st September 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. The working hours can be flexible to suit the successful candidate but would ideally be 3 days (8.30- 4.00) with an additional 3 hours across the week. This role will include whole class cover.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold at least a HLTA NVQ Level 4 qualification

• Have relevant successful experience from YR – Y6 as a Teaching Assistant/Senior Teaching Assistant/Class Teacher or similar

• Be a positive and proactive member of our team

• Work confidently and effectively on their own and as part of a team

• Have experience of working with children with SEND

• Provide a purposeful and well-disciplined learning environment which reflects the school ethos

• Establish positive, supportive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
