HET CENTRAL TEAM & CLIFTON PRIMARY SCHOOL
Grade & Scale point: 6, SCP 14 – 19
Salary: £29,540 - £32,061 FTE, £22,732 - £24,672 Actual, £15.31 - £16.62/hr
Hours of work: 33hrs/wk - 2 days/wk at Clifton Primary School,
3 days/wk in the HET Central Team based at Bude Park Primary School
Contract: Permanent, Term-time + 5 days (195 days)
Start date: September 2026
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised, and motivated individual to appoint as our Human Resources Administrator, working across both Clifton Primary School and HET’s Central Team, supporting the safer recruitment function at school and Trust level.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive HR administration service across both settings. The successful candidate will provide proactive support on a wide range of HR matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, statutory requirements, and school policies, whilst contributing to a positive and professional working environment.
You will work closely with leaders and staff, providing effective administrative support and helping to ensure HR processes are delivered efficiently and accurately. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the wellbeing and success of our workforce.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, together with the knowledge, skills, and experience required to provide effective HR support and undertake the professional responsibilities detailed in the job specification. They will be committed, approachable, and able to build positive working relationships with colleagues across both schools.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• To manage the recruitment and selection process in line with safer recruitment guidance
• To maintain the Single Central Record
• To support the implementation of the Sickness Management Policy and procedure across the school
• To provide an effective Human Resources administrative support service to the school
• Pro-actively support the effective application of terms and conditions of employment and provide advice on informal and initial stages of HR policies and procedures
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
• Level 3 CIPD qualification or NVQ Level 3/two A’ levels (in relevant discipline)
• Demonstrable experience of working in an HR environment
• GCSE English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent)
• Experience of working in an administrative environment
• ICT / ECDL qualification or training
