Cromwell Community College are seeking a motivated, approachable Human Resources and Recruitment Officer to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role will help ensure that our Academy is a supportive, compliant, and forward-thinking workplace for all staff.

About the role:
This is a dynamic role at the heart of our Academy’s operations. As the Human Resources and Recruitment Officer, you will play a key part in shaping a positive staff experience from recruitment through to ongoing development. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with employment legislation, maintaining accurate and secure records and helping to embed Trust-wide HR initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident in handling sensitive information, and passionate about fostering a supportive and efficient workplace environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing academy-led processes in relation to HR matters for existing members of staff
- Working collaboratively with the central Recruitment Team on the recruitment of all new starters
- Coordinating staff induction, probation, appraisal, and training processes
- Maintaining and updating the Single Central Register (SCR)
- Ensuring the timely completion of payroll checks as per scheduled timelines
