ICT Manager job summary
Bettridge is looking to appoint an IT Manager to work as part of a team committed to providing the best possible quality of teaching and learning for two Special Schools. This is for 37hrs/week, all year round.
The principal tasks and responsibilities are the management of all aspects of the IT networks, analytical fault diagnosis and repair. You must be able to develop a vision and strategy for innovative use of IT in a school setting, involving infrastructure improvement and management of the IT budget. The role includes training and advising staff on using IT as a teaching tool to promote the use of IT across the curriculum and will have line management for an ICT Technician.
You will have excellent IT and technical skills with knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server 2012 & 2016, Exchange, Windows 8.1 & 10 and CentOS 7.
You must be self-motivated, able to think clearly under pressure, methodical, dynamic and enthusiastic. Salary can be negotiated for the right candidate.
