The Elizabethan Academy is seeking an exceptional Inclusion & Engagement Manager to lead our Inclusionroomand play a key role in supporting students who requireadditionalpastoral,learningor engagement support.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who can build positive relationships with students, families,staffand external agencies, helping vulnerable young people to overcome challenges, develop confidence and successfully access mainstream education.

We also recognise the value of subject expertise and place strong emphasis on this through our tailored CPD programme.
Ensuring that all students are supported to have the best possible future is extremely important to us. You will be joining an incredibly welcoming team that makes a difference to children's lives every day both on our main site, and potentially also at our off-site Enhanced Provision. The academy has achieved the Autism and Dyslexia Friendly Kite marks and was awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools. We are frequently selected to pilot new initiatives by the Local Authority and have benefited from the installation of a new sensory room and outdoor classroom after being awarded funding.

The Role:Inclusion and Engagement Manager
As Inclusion & Engagement Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of our Inclusionroom, providing a safe,nurturingand purposeful environment for students who are experiencing barriers to learning. Working closely with pastoral, SEND and teaching staff, you willidentifystudentsrequiringadditionalsupport and developpersonalisedplans that enable them to build confidence, improveengagementand successfullyhave their needs met inmainstream lessons.
A key aspect of the role will be building strong relationships with students,families,and external agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to support. You will act as a champion for inclusion, promoting positive attendance,engagementand wellbeing, whilst helping students access the full range of opportunities available at the Academy. Through targeted interventions, mentoring and effective partnership working, you will support students to engage not only with their learning, but also with the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities, trips, clubs and other opportunities that contribute to their personal development and success.
