What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic Head of Inclusion and Pastoral (SENCo and Pastoral Lead) to join our leadership team. You will play a key role in contributing to Franciscan’s ethos of “Achieving Excellence Together”, enabling every child to flourish and thrive. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled professional who is passionate about living our values of respect, kindness and perseverance, and who is determined to make a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.

You will play a central role in supporting the Headteacher as part of a highly effective leadership team. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for inclusion, SEND and pastoral systems, ensuring that vulnerable groups – including pupils with SEND, EAL, CLA and Pupil Premium – are fully supported to achieve excellence. Alongside this, you will maintain a flexible teaching commitment, modelling best practice and coaching colleagues to deliver high-quality, inclusive provision across the school.
