St John's C.E. School is a one-form entry primary school with an integrated Nursery, situated in the heart of the community which it serves.
I am delighted to be Acting Head of School, supported by a team of skilled and dedicated teachers and support staff, and proud of the strong child-centered values we uphold and of the high expectations we have for our pupils both academically and socially.
Everyone at St John's works hard to ensure that a caring and carefully structured learning environment is provided to allow our pupils to flourish and achieve their full potential. Our Christian Values of love, kindness, honesty and forgiveness remain central, and The Pupil Promise, created by the children of St. John’s, supports us all in striving to ‘be the best that we can be.’
As a staff, we have a driving determination to raise standards and aspirations, aiming to achieve educational excellence for our children. We believe there is no limit to what children can achieve and offer the highest standards in education where children are challenged and inspired to develop a love of learning.
We are deeply committed to working in partnership with our children, their families and the community and value strong links between home and school, based on mutual respect and positive relationships. Staff provide a calm and purposeful environment at St. John's where mutual respect is modelled by all and everyone is valued, always.
