What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Base Lead to assist in managing the provision for students identified as having SEND; including promoting access to our mainstream classrooms in order to access high quality teaching. This is an excellent opportunity for professional and career development as appropriate training will be provided to further enhance the skills and qualifications of the successful candidate.

Applicants should be confident, articulate, empathetic and with a strong desire to equip young people with the necessary strategies and skills to achieve more than they dreamt possible. We require an experienced colleague who is passionate about SEND and who can provide inspirational, high quality interventions to support students in making good or outstanding progress, who can also work alongside our team of Teaching Assistants. The successful candidate will be relentless and uncompromising in securing excellent outcomes for all students.

Applicants must have good personal levels of literacy and numeracy, lots of patience, and experience of and the ability to build positive relationships with young people who may be lacking in confidence about themselves or the skills they need in order to be successful.
