What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and inspirational practitioner to lead our brand-new Inclusion Hub. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape and develop this provision, champion inclusive practice and deliver high-quality teaching to pupils within the base.

About the role

  • Lead the development and delivery of our new Inclusion Hub, ensuring it reflects our school values and commitment to inclusive education.
  • Teach small groups of pupils in a nurturing, supportive environment, while facilitating successful integration into mainstream classrooms.
  • Design and deliver a therapeutic and personalised curriculum, using trauma-informed approaches to prepare children for the challenges they face.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Headteacher and SENCo to ensure inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, carers and external professionals.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced and reflective practitioner with a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs.
  • Holds QTS and has at least five years of teaching experience (essential).
  • Has training or experience in trauma-informed approaches or similar practices (essential).
  • Holds or is working towards, a SENCo qualification (NPQ, SENCo or NASENCo) (desirable).
