Are you an ambitious and compassionate educational leader dedicated to ensuring every child succeeds? We are seeking an inspirational Inclusion Lead to champion the progress, achievement, and holistic wellbeing of all pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) or who are disadvantaged, and those facing barriers to learning.

This dynamic, newly established role offers a unique opportunity to work across two vibrant schools in the Bridport area—Bridport Primary School and Bridport St Mary’s CE Primary School. As Inclusion Lead, you will drive high-quality inclusive practice and empower every child to flourish. It is an extraordinary moment to join us as we reimagine our well-established Inclusion Hub at St Mary’s (supporting communication and interaction) and launch an innovative specialist resource provision for SEMH at Bridport Primary. You will have the creative freedom and strategic backing to shape and design this role to best serve our school communities whilst working alongside our teams of ambitious professionals.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • NASENCO National Award for Special Educational Needs Co-ordination / NPQ for SENCOs. (NQPSENCO)National Professional Qualification for Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator

  • Strong understanding of SEND strategies, and wider inclusion needs.

  • Experience supporting a range of vulnerable learners.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

  • A passion for ensuring every child makes strong and sustained progress.

  • Proven outstanding teaching skill

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working across more than one setting.

  • Experience in role as inclusion lead

  • Senior Leadership (SLT) experience
