What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an experienced or aspiring Inclusion Leader, with SENCo experience, looking for an exciting challenge?
We are seeking an Inclusion Leader 0.6 and class based teaching cover 0.4 to join our team from January 2025, as part of our Senior Leadership Team. We require a diligent, committed and caring person who is passionate about special educational needs, to lead the high-quality SEN provision within our school.
We are looking for an experienced practitioner who has excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with our families and work with our teaching team to ensure the impact of all interventions are effective.
Do you have:
- a proven track record of supporting pupils with SEND, particularly speech and language, ASD and SEMH;
- experience of successful leadership and management within a school or other educational setting;
- the ability to provide professional leadership and management of a staff team and contribute to the work of other teams to secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for ALL pupils across the school;
- the knowledge of relevant legislation;
- the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines; and
- the ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
