Wyvern Academy, part of the Consilium Academies Trust, is seeking an Inclusion Manager to lead our internal inclusion provision. About the Role

As Inclusion Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage an internal inclusion provision to support pupils temporarily withdrawn from mainstream lessons.
  • Provide targeted interventions to address barriers to learning, including behaviour, social, and emotional needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, the SENDCO, parents, and external agencies to re-engage students and reintegrate them into mainstream lessons.
  • Support pupils to develop positive attitudes, emotional resilience, and strategies to succeed both in and beyond school.
  • Create a purposeful, supportive learning environment and track the impact of interventions.

This role is integral to ensuring our students feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
  • Is self-motivated, organised, and committed to supporting the school’s ethos and values.
  • Has experience working with young people and families, and ideally with external agencies.
  • Understands safeguarding and has knowledge of supporting social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Can deliver individual and small-group interventions to support positive behaviour and learning.

Experience in a school environment is desirable, but we also welcome applicants from other professional backgrounds with transferable skills.
