Do you enjoy working closely with young people, supporting their progress and celebrating their success?
We are looking for an Inclusion Room Supervisor to join us on a part time basis for up to 20 hours per week, with the option to be flexible for the right candidate.
Working alongside the Student Services Manager and Pastoral Support Assistant team you will be responsible for the supervision of the Internal Reflection room, ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential.
Our Inclusion Room Supervisor will promote high standards of behaviour and learning in accordance with academy policies, leading on the supervision of the Internal Reflection Room by promoting a positive ethos within room that is line with the Behaviour for Learning Policy.
Our Inclusion Room Supervisor will:
- Ensure students access learning whilst in the Internal Reflection Room.
- Provide guidance, and opportunities to reflect, enabling student to re-engage successfully with their classroom learning
- Maintaining a visible presence about the Academy throughout the day.
- Provide on-call support for incidents when needed and seek quick resolutions.
- Supervise students throughout the day including before school, during break, lunch and after school.
- Supervision of detentions as required.
- Enforcing uniform expectations
The actual working pattern can be discussed at interview but it is intended that the hours will be worked over 5 days.
